What an amazing three days. I spoke on two panels on Producing and shared the story of partner Termite Watkins and his incredible true story of taking Iraq to the Olympics during the war. I met so many great new friends and ran into friends from LA. We watched some great upcoming feature films, including "Bonhoeffer", "White Bird", "The Greatest Christmas Pagent" and the documentary "In the Shadow of the King" by the Saylor Brothers. And I even made it to downtown Nashville for an hour before heading to the airport. I'm coming back to Nashville in November for a vacation with family. Feeling Blessed and Grateful

It was horrible. And I heard this voice in my head. It was clear as day. It said you have to direct this movie. I didn't know back then that it was the start of my directing career. But I said to my writing partner when he asked, why are you crying? Are you okay? I said, no, I'm okay. I'm okay. But I have to direct this movie. He said, what do you know about directing? Nothing. But I know I have to direct this movie.
James celebrates the success of his film True Friends, which garnered numerous awards and had a long theatrical run.
And I did. It was a great little movie called True Friends, and I won all kinds of awards for it.

They screened four feature films that will be in theaters later this year. I’m sharing the trailers from three of those movies.
